The Griffith Elder Batch Weighing Indicator provides an automatic control for filling of up to eight ingredients into a weighing hopper, or for dispensing batches of material from the hopper. Pre-set weights of up to eight ingredients are entered by the operator. These weights are retained in the indicator’s memory, even when switched off. A normally open relay output is provided from the indicator to operate the filling equipment automatically. Up to four load cells of various capacities can be used with the system (via a load cell controller unit).
