Crimper Weigher

While processing every batch of grain through the crimper weigher, farmers and contractors can access precise information, comprising of integrated load cells and a dedicated WC1 weight indicator located in the tractor cab. This displays the hopper weight and the batch weight.

You can keep filling the hopper to put more through the machine and keep a running batch total.

Crimper Weighers allow farmers to harvest, process, store and preserve the full feed value of their products for use as animal feed.

Setting up and operating the crimper weigher system is both quick and simple.

The tare weight of the machine can be easily set by zeroing the system before beginning the process. As the hopper is filled, the weighing controller is triggered by the first grain delivered to the rollers.

Users do not need to suspend operation while the hopper is refilled, allowing for seamless operation. An entire batch of grain can be processed without any interruption. It automatically knows when it is being filled so that it can calculate what has gone into the hopper weight and what has been processed through the machine. The system calculates the average output over the previous instance in time.

Batch data is stored in the weight indicator, to view all records later as well as live.

2 x 12 Tonne S Type Load Cells can be installed on the rear, and one 9 tonne shear beam on the draw bar mount that is connected to the tractor hitch. With this installation, the two rear load cells are jacked down to the ground to raise the axle and weigh everything.

Either 4 x 3 tonne shear beam or 4 x 6 tonne shear beams weighing the hopper can be installed. Load cells are fitted underneath the hopper.

Another installation option is a non-trailed machine that is picked up and moved to where it is needed and placed on the floor. This also uses 4 x 3 tonne shear beams or 4 x 6 tonne shear beams weighing the hopper.
