Weighbus Law Enforcement

The Weighbus Law Enforcement Software is simple to use, reducing errors and the risk of data loss. Manual and automatic operation modes are available to control the whole process. The trucks weight is captured and stored automatically by the software. Axles, gross, mass and fine amounts are calculated within the software.

Actual weighing data and calculated fines are shown on the ticket
instantly at the time of weighing.

The Griffith Elder software has been designed with security in mind.

• Changes to an entry by an operator can be reported & fully audited.
• Password protected, only authorised personnel can operate.
• User groups and permissions can be designed by management to restrict operation and menu access.
• Administrators maintain full privileges to the settings and functions of the software, including fine data.
• Tickets cannot be deleted after creation; time, date and operator are all permanently logged.
• Ticket information is encrypted to avoid data tampering.
• Embedded web server product – log in and operate from any PC.
• Audit trail for every single data entry, (e.g. the vehicle registration on the record) detailing who carried out the entry and what was entered.
• Software uses on-premise web server, with scheduled back ups saved to another location to reduce data loss.

The Weighbus Law Enforcement software is compatible with Single Axle Weighbridges. Alternative versions of our Weighbus software are also available, including Industrial and Overload Protection versions, to ensure the software can meet the demands of varying sectors in the weighing industry.

The Weighbus Overload Protection Software has customisable tickets, and printed tickets can be modified as required. This allows managers to select the information that is required to appear on the ticket.

Define data entry values, data fields and associations. Configure Vehicle Classifications as per the regional standard. Different classes are easily identifiable with images. Setup allowable weights and apply tolerances and fines according to local laws for each vehicle type.

Printed tickets show sequential record number, all weighing data and data entered by default. See overloaded vehicles at a glance, and pinpoint overloaded axles. Overloaded vehicle tickets must be resolved, and vehicles are directed not to leave.

Weights and other data are stored in the database for detailed reporting. The software allows managers to create reports with this information, specifying input and output conditions.

The reporting function allows CSV files, camera images and ticket html files to be automatically exported for each closed record, sent directly to the relevant management or teams. For example, all overload or invalid records can be sent to one or more specific teams in a central office ‘live’ as they are completed for them to monitor.

The software can be linked to our traffic lights, large displays, cameras, ANPR cameras, road barriers and touchscreen terminals. These are fully automated and will function when the operator finishes a ticket.

Cameras are set up to take a snapshot with every weighing, images are stored in the database. ANPR recognition for license plates are also available. Registration results & ANPR images are saved in the database. Changes to the entry can be reported & fully audited.

Traffic lights and large display systems direct vehicles through the weighing process. If overloaded the truck is directed into the police compound, if it is within allowable limits then the vehicle is directed back to the road.
